I
can
heartily recommend WinIVR. I started off writing my own software but found
that
WinIVR did everything I wanted, so I threw mine in the bin. Been in use
everyday
for nearly 12 months now. I also use it for controlling appliances and the
like
via HomeSeer. Messages are indeed saved as .WAV files in separate folders.
I
used this to allow me to play back messages via the TV.
No
connection other than as satisfied user.
Cheers,
Steve
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could suggest some
voicemail software. Basically I want to set up a low-spec machine which is
currently lying around doing nothing as an answerphone and I was wondering
if
there is any off-the-shelf software that anyone would recommend. I want
maybe
a maximum of 20-30 mailboxes which could be selected by number and then
messages recorded and saved to hard disk. In the end I want the
machine
to send out an e-mail when a message is received so something which just
saves
WAV files into separate directories would probably be the easiest thing.
Low
cost would be kind of essential ;-) and I suppose I could probably whip
something together myself but I really don't have time for that kind of
tinkering at the moment.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Regards,
Oliver.
