Me too :o)

I tried and tried to get info, but all I can find is zip unless you want to pay mega bucks and don’t expect to break even for about ten years! Hell, Scottish Power don’t even want to buy back surplus power and if your electricity supplier does its usually at about 2.4p a KW hour when they charge you 6+ pence a KW hour. I thought that there were grants for this kind of stuff but they’re all gone! See the million roofs for Europe thing where it was a handout from the EEC, but you had to be in the know to get it.

Hi all,

A bit off-topic, but I'm wondering if there's anyone out there with experience with harnessing mother nature to generate electricity/hot water.  I've come across a lot of sites which promote alternative energy, but none that offer any great advice, where to start etc.

I don't have any great need to do this, since I live on a large housing estate and do have mains electricity, it's something I've always wanted to do.

Cheers!

- Phil
