Absolutely! - my "entertainment" PC is in the cellar, -
immediately beneath
the living room, connected to the AV amp by a 5 metre S-video cable, and a
5
metre stereo audio cable. A layer of floorboards, a layer of carpet, and a
6-foot air gap is a very effective noise insulator!! - bit of a problem
whan
I want to change the disk in the CDROM drive though.... (Thinking of
putting
a SCSI one in an external enclosure on a 5-metre SCSI cable, and putting
that in the AV rack...)
