Not as much as this one:
 
    If you buy your batteries in dozens, you will find they come in a convenient cardboard box.
 
    To make identification easier, this box will be pre-printed with the text "12 AA batteries"

How about an ammunition belt from your local Army and Navy store, should be about the same size as cartridges and would be ready for action ! 'Course you would look a complete t*t but you didn't actually specify that you wanted a sensible answer ;-)

Given that we're all gadget freaks has anyone seen anything that is suitable for carrying maybe a dozen AA batteries safely when out and about?
