I want to connect up the analogue outputs of me terminal adapter to be
distributed over CAT5. The outputs use RJ11 plugs but I want to use CAT5
cable (as I have loads of it) is there any particular standard I should
follow in terms of colours of wires and sequence ? The structured wiring
throughout the house uses standard CAT5 sequencing: WO, O, WG, B, WB, G,
WBr, Br when viewed from the top of an RJ45 plug (holding the cable with
the
'plug tail' underneath). I am using Krone adapters in the RJ45 outlets to
convert to BT phone socket. I did connect all this up a while ago and it
worked fine by connecting just two wires coming out of the TA ports (found
via trial and error) but I'm sure there is some sort of standard.
