Having given up on Maplin, I've sourced most of the parts for the BIK
project
from Farnell, minus 1 or two items, though I'm hoping you'll be able to
help
me out here.
Firstly I'm short one of the transistors, 2N5459.
and the other item is a 5v SPST reed relay. Farnell do sell them, but not
in
the package required for the PCB. You can see what I mean at
http://www.smgsystems.co.uk/ha/bik/
I'll be posting a parts list later, along with my guide to building one.
Also, I'm not going to buy my resistors from Farnell, as they only supply
them in minimum numbers of 50!! but I'm hoping Rapid will be able to supply
in smaller numbers.
