Hi

Did a silly thing, and put all the UKHA posts into their own folder, and then forgot I did it !! Was wondering why I wasn't seeing any postings... :-)

X10 wall switches are about to arrive to these shores, at long last.

I specifically requested them about 9 months ago, and am now in possession of a sample. I am awaiting pricing, and will do an order as soon as I know. That means delivery will be MINIMUM 3 months away, with a more likely leadtime of 4-5 months :-(

The socket is DOUBLE gang size, with the X10 electronics on the left and a SINGLE switched socket on the right. The socket will be a standard UK switched white plastic 13 amp socket. Unlike the sample, the socket WILL be included with the unit. Obviously if someone turns the socket off, you are no longer in control of it by X10

Anyone who is registered on my newsletter list will be sent an e-mail when I have firm news of the product.

Thanks for the comments about the cartoons, I love them. Problem is my staff think that the man is modelled on me !! Can anyone suggest a name for him ? Bod springs to mind, but that's a bit dull...

Regards
Mike

Is anyone aware of a single/double gang X10 wall socket.
The U.S. seem to have it sorted with the following: http://www.smarthome.com/2245.html
