No the software doesn't emulate windows it is windows. You install a
copy of windows into a virtual machine, exactly as you would on a blank
machine. It is beneficial, linux and windows software run at the same
time providing a compromise where you just can't get the stuff for
linux.

I don't know you're knowledge of virtual machines or os partitioning
[not the same as hd partitions] if you want I will type something up
about it that I can post the group or anyone personally who asks. Mark
if you don't want it going to the group please say so. I don't want to
patronise anyone more than I probably already have. I can't judge how
you're feeling and I don't know you, but the tone of your reply below
suggest you're getting hacked off at me?
