Ahhhh, but...
The problem I found was that you cannot "pick up" either of your
analog
numbers from the Digital ports.
ie, I have two analog numbers, and the digital one
What I would >like< to do is use my Speedway card to answer inbound
data instantly, and inbound voice calls after a few rings. It would let
me filter out junk calls, use the PC as an answerphone, even let me do
cool stuff like sending messages via winroute's SMTP gateway, so that I
could have voice messages forwarded on to my PC at work...
lots of cool stuff..
However, even though internally the HH box is a "sort-of" ISDN TA
with
POTS ports, Bt have chosen in firmware to prevent the digital side from
picking up inbound calls on the voice numbers.
Apparently it is to prevent confusion for normal consumers. grrrrrrr.
