Hi Nigel,

I have a BT Home Highway line, and my CLID definately appears immediately
AFTER the first ring. - I never had the CLID service when I had my old
single analogue line so I can't comment about when it appears on those. (I
wouldn't have expected it to be any different?)

Paul G.

PS - This is getting really confusing, 'cos everybody seems to be saying
that CLID either *does* or should appear before the first ring, - which is
what I would prefer anyway, but it most definately doesn't on mine! - is
there perhaps a preference setting that BT can change to one or the other?
