Although I have PIR detectors, I am not intending building the IR receiver
into any.  As part of my bedroom blitz I installed a metal back box with
conduit into the loft ready for something - it passes the WAF test by
having
a blanking plate hiding everything, and this will form the basis for the
housing.  Hopefully the finished product will look similar to Mark/Keith's
Clipsal based reveiver.

I am in the process of putting together a site that will document my
efforts/problems/results - watch this space!
