BTinternet
I'm
using Dynamic DNS from...
This
little tool sits in your system tray. Everytime you go online it
points
your chosen URL (in my case otto.myip.org) to your current IP. Look
here
too http://www.myip.org/dd/
It
is also really handy for things like Netmeeting, BuddyPhone etc as my mates
don't need to know your current IP to contact you. They just use
otto.myip.org.

Thanks for your advice Mark. I have downloaded
the software and am pretty impressed.
You may be able to help with one question I
have regarding the dynamic ip addresses set by btinternet. How do I put a
link on my webpage to my home server.
Thanks
Campbell

I'm using this to automatically dial in to BT
when it's free.
M.
I have just
registered Homeseer.
Has anyone set up homeseer using their
btinternet connection. If so I
would be grateful of advice on setting
it up.
