Stuart,

I have the windows kit and it works very well, I also have a DS one wire
weather station, also works well. I know that there are Linux drives for
the
weather station so I am sure you could get it to work.

If you have problems come back to me I am on another list which just deals
with the DS one wire weather system so I can get hold of the url for the
drivers.

As a side bar, our security system at one of our factories is operated by
iButtons each employee has one on a key flob and they touch a recepicatal
by
the door to get it to unlock. Very good system although the UK distributor
has disappeared you can get them in the states, the beauty of the system is
that since no two ibuttons are the same you can enable only the keys you
want and if one is lost you just delete it from the list. All the data to
run the system is stored on a master key which is just placed in the
recepictal and a button pressed on the control panel to load up the new
data, this means you dont need to connect the lock system to PC you just
carry the data on a button.
