thanks for that.

I've registered an interest although I know I wont get it :-(((
Its really annoying that I work for BT at the site that did most of the
development work for BT's ADSL offering but living in Great Yarmouth stuck
out on the east coast, I am actually closer to Holland than anywhere in the
UK getting ADSL on the first/second phase of rollout.

I did ask a question at work the other week and was told that all main
exchanges would have ADSL by 2003. I got the impression that only exchanges
in really remote rural areas would be without the capability by then. Every
town and large village should get it.....I HOPE !!!

Guess I will just have to upgrade my 2 lines to Highway and make do with
64k Free Access at evenings and weekends.

For those that have an account with Freenetname, they are looking for ADSL
testers from April. The service will be free for the period of the test. To
sign up go to the homepage and follow the links. It should be good.
Freenetname are now owned by Concentric, who are a major player in ADSL in
the US, and I know are keen to do the same in the UK.
