Thanks for that link.
On the Dallas site, there is a document "Application Note 104,
Minimalist Temp. Control Demo" Which has a circuit diagram. If you
strip
off the peizo sensor and LED's you get a very simple ciruit with just
the the actual sensor and a connection to the com port.
Have you actually used the 1820 or 1821? Is it really that simple?
