[TV coax cables for TV, FM and satellite]
I've heard of CT100, CT125 and various other electrically specified
coax cables, with CT125 being the generally recommended best cable type.
I believe/guess that the American standards of RG59, RG6, RG62 are
roughly equivalent to CT?, CT100, CT125. Is this correct ?
I've assumed that I'd run a pair of CT125 cables to all 'TV points'
from a central distribution centre, and then terminate with 2 coax outlets.
I don't currently have satellite, but will probably, once I have
ceilings/walls/floors rebuilt ! I've seen mention of F type connectors for
satellite, specific TV outlets for TV, and also coax outlets for
ThinEthernet (BNC ?)/Token Ring ? I'd assumed that 2 'normal' TV-type coax
sockets would cover everything. Any suggestions ?
James
