Mark,

Homeseer allows you to select the port for it to run on - by default it's
port 80. You can change it to any other port (make sure it's not a port
used by any other app). Then when you want to connect to the server using
a different port you go:

for example

http://www.automatedhome.co.uk:99

ie add a colon to the end of the url and then the port number you
specified in the options dialog.
