Just a quick note to say that I received my IRMAN IR receiver, as
(indirectly) referred to in Mark's post the other day.

Arrived today (they said it would take up to three weeks - it took four
days!), unpacked it, downloaded software from their web site, plugged it
in to a spare serial port and started controlling apps by remote control
(after a little configuration, of course).

Doesn't work very well with some of my remotes - it doesn't like my
Pioneer DVD remote and, unfortunately, it doesn't like the Open keyboard
for my Sky digibox (which is a shame) - but with most it works just
fine.

Anyway, I'll do a full write-up sometime soon but in the meantime, I
reckon they're more than work the =A320 that they cost. I'm going to be
ordering a couple more!

Cheers for now,

Steve
