I am a novice at this but as far as I can remember from the instructions
(I may be getting confused with the lighting module here!) you can make
a module switch on by switching the load off and then on again using its
own power switch.  For this to work the module must be passing a small
current through the load to sense the open and closed circuit
conditions.
