I can tell you what's wrong with the PRONTO - you'll end up spending ages
fiddling and getting things just right - it'll turn to obsession if you're
not careful!!! Of course, if like me you haven't got any time, then you
play with it for a few weeks and put it on the huge 'do later pile'. Now
if
only I can find some time.... (I guess spending 4 hours/day driving to/from
work doesn't help much) :)
On a more serious note, what will drive you mad is if you have equipment
that doesn't have discrete codes - you'll devise some cool panels/macros
and
then find you can only toggle ON/OFF and not just turn something ON. IME
Sony equipment seems quite good in supporting discrete codes, others not so
well and others maybe better.
One thing I am after is discrete ON and OFF for my Philips OnDigital STB,
as
well as zoom/wide/4:3 codes for my Wega - perhaps they don't even exist...
