The output from HV is composite.

I have it set up like this.  All my sources go into the AV amp (Sat, DVD,
VCR etc).  Then the video out of the amp goes to the video in on HV.  The
video out on HV then feeds the SCART on the TV.  This way the HV screens
can
be superimposed onto whatever you're watching.
