Combining the current thread on the latest "must have" hifi
accessories and this one on
cat5 cables do I detect another marketing possibility ?

If your cat5 cable is close to 100 degC then the electrons must be moving
faster - so
will your network speed improve accordingly ? There could be a big market
for "Hot Cat5"
cable !

Also stealing from the hifi thread how about directional Cat5 cable where
it works faster
in one direction than the other - that way you can read data from the
server quicker.

The possibilities are endless ...........
