Campbell,

Have you thought about renting a TV? I wouldn't normally, but with them
changing so quickly at the moment, what with inbuilt digi-decoders, 100Hz
scan rate etc, I think it's a good idea to just rent one. My dealer (I dont
know what they're called, but it was either Grananda or Radio Rentals, and
I think they're both the same company now anyway) let you swap you're TV
about as many times as you want, so when a new TV comes out you can upgrade
for free (you just pay the extra rent if there is any)

I worked it out that paying 32 quid a month it would take a couple of years
to pay the full price of a TV, so as long as I change it every couple of
years....

As for advice on models, I've got a Phillips 28" widescreen TV, and I
had a
32" TV in my old flat, and I've always been more than happy with both.
