What kind of cost does he knock out the UPS's for?

Second hand 3kW UPS. A guy called 'juls' sells them on the uk computer ads
usenet group.

I didn't think they were required but when i see this thing kick in several
times a day. It must be. I bought it mainly to keep HA up over short
outages.

Can't say on power strips other than basically two types at Maplins the
cheaper ones and the ones with a guarantee offering cash if your equipment
is damaged whilst plugged into the product. As to if they pay up ? I dont
know.
