And I've got all you IP numbers too, but I can't think of anythink to do
with them!
More seriously, in preparation for this being installed I did an awful lot
of research into firewalls, and with the help of Steve Gibson's web site at
http://grc.com, and Mark's advice, installed
a copy of ZoneAlarm Pro. Even
while I was still connected via dial-up I would get a couple of unexplained
probes a week. So far today my connection has been up for just over 6
hours,
and I have seen 3 unsuccessful attempts to probe closed ports on my PC.
