Keith,

Doesn't STP mean Shielded twisted pair cable.
(An electrically conducting cable comprising one or more elements each of
which is individually shielded. There may be an overall shield in which
case the cable is referred to as a shielded twisted pair cable with an
overall shield)

and doesn't FTP mean Foil screened twisted pair cable.
(A cable that uses a metallic Foil to surround the conductors in a Twisted
Pair cable)
