Re: PC to Video
Alan,
Check if your TV can support an S-Video input on it's SCART connector.
maplin do a SCART converter which has video-phono, audio Left, audio right,
and an S-Video connector (it's a four pin mini -din, similar to a PS-2
mouse
plug) If you use the video output of your Video Card (what is it btw?)as an
S-video rather than composite, the text will be incredibly sharp and easily
readable.
I use an ATI All in Wonder 128, and a Goodmans 336NS el-cheapo big screen
TV
and the PC display is legible down to 6pt. It's really sharp and most
"monitor-like" at 10pt, which is fialry standard anyhoo. If you
use the
"Windows Large" Appearance setting in Win95/8 and change your
screen colour
to black, or a similarly dark shade, it makes the text perfect, gives good
contrast and minimizes colour bleed....
hope this helps.
Ian.
