You CAN use a normal latching switch with an LD10 however the module will
operate when the switch is closed and release when the switch is opened.
Whilst the switch is operated the effect is the same as moving the little
slide switch from "Auto" to "1" with the module being
permanently ON and
ignoring any X10 signals. The facility is there mainly as a remote
Emergency
Override IMHO.
