Yup ... I'm looking for some black fabric paint with which to paint out the
area of the 4:3 Owl Screen that I'll be using to mask it down to 16:9
format
for exactly that reason.

one thing that I have found when watching widescreen using a projector, is
it makes a massive difference if you cover up the black bars with a true
black material, I use black sheets on a dowell that's adjustable, makes the
colours look a lot brighter.

Suggest they use LCD panels instead, and offer to dispose of the
plasmas.....?  Or would LCD suffer burn - can't see how?
