I have used this software for ripping in the past but don't you find that
the quality is really rather bad? Even at 160k/sec and using Digital Audio
Extraction from CD I found that the quality was really rather naff.

Mark,
I'm well into this with MusicMatch Jukebox (www.musicmatch.com) and have so
far converted around 95 CDs. MMJ uses ID3V2 tags if that helps and I am
using MMJs facility to drag them off the CDDB database so that I don't have
to enter them manually.
So far I have only found 3 CDs that needed the info adding by hand!
Regards,
Jon

Subject: [ukha_d] MP3 Encoding - Tags???
About to start into encoding my CD collection as I can now see how I'm
going
to be able to use them soon!
There has been lots of discussion on the pros on cons of various packages
for encoding but can anyone enlighten me on the Tags? There seem to be
different versions of tags? I want to make sure the tags are right as most
of these MP3 players that connect over Ethernet use them for their
displays.
Thanks
M.
