RE: Voice control

Alan,

Yes HAL2000 will still control Homevision. I've only been playing around
with it for a while, so I've still lots to learn before I even begin to
know the full extent of what it can do. Currently, I am only using a mic
which is built into my monitor (which is not likely to be the best
quality), and the recognition is very good. Even when I am standing the
other side of the room (a small room though). You can download Hal2000
trial version from www.cocoonz.com. Took me about an hour and half on my
poor old modem though (been enviously reading al those emails about ADSL,
cant wait till telco's over here get their act together).

Regards,

Eamon

Thanks for the advice Eamon, will HALL200 still control Home Vision and
where can I get a copy of the demo?
My concern has been the cost of the hardware even the microphones seem
dammed expensive, especially if they don't work. What are you using as an
input device to test your set-up?
