If I may add my 0.02:

I'm running similar configuration at home: two computers connected to a
server (all W2k) with an ISDN card (Fritz - solid German product). I'm
using
Sygate 4.0 to share internet connection and Sygate Personal Firewall for
firewalling. Both products www.sybergen.com, both have 30 (if remember
correctly) trial period.

Disclaimer: I have no connection to Sybergen except being quite satisfied
user.
