The ones I have fitted just 'ignore' the lower region, but they allegedly
also
have some clever logic that works out whether it's a pet or a crawling
burglar.
Having just tested it, it seems to work - dog doesn't set it off, and I do,
but
then again, the dog's a lot smaller than me.
