Morning All,

I've seen devices around which can be used to control the inputs into IR
receivers usually for AV gear. I would like to know if anyone has used
these, what views they have and can they be controlled via X-10, Homeseer
or
the like.

The units appear to 'Stick' onto the IR receiver of say an Audio AMP and
then are connected by wire to a central control unit, this can send IR
signals directly into the appliance as if someone were pointing a remote
control at it. The central unit is usually mounted remotely enabling AV
gear
to be stored in out of the way locations.

Anyone seen this? Any ideas. If this is a controllable device it could be
used to switch equipment on in accordance with HA requirements.

Regards

Steve
