This is all looking a bit confusing...

IIS is available for NT workstation and server
PWS is available for 95, 98 and NT

Both support ASP (pretty sure). However IIS has more features for
controlling the web server, so I prefer it. However PWS on a 9x machine is
a
lot simpler to implement because there are fewer security features to trip
you up.

Both PWS and IIS are free.
