You are very lucky. I was getting new windows installed and I noticed that
the original BT line was drilled in through the wooden window frame and the
box bolted to the window sill (quality workmanship!). I called BT to have
it
removed and they said it would cost £100 call out to have a look at moving
it. I then got my wife to call up saying there was a fault and wires were
showing (which soon would be). BT came out and fixed it. They made a hole
at
the top of the new window opening, put a small junction box there with a
wire tacked onto the wall running dow to beside the window frame. Then the
BT socket box was bolted to the wall beside the window. 3ft off the ground.
I had to track the wall and move the box myself later that week.
