Re: Protect and survive

Hi,

> 1. Is anyone using ADSL/Cable for 24x7 connection to the internet

A word of warning if anyone is considering using BT's OpenWorld ADSL
service
for the Comfort web interface. I may have misunderstood, but from what info
I could find, OpenWorld won't be so open and is likely to disable web
hosting from your PC.

Hoorayy!! I just found a bounus to living here in Holland:

"Frequently asked questions

10) Can I run my own server even with a private subscription such as Basic
ADSL?

Yes, of course, but you should note that the upstream and downstream
traffic
is subject to a fair use policy: personal use only. For example, offering a
vast collection of MP3s does not constitute fair use."
