It might be easier to mount the LD10 directly behind the ceiling rose, so
you just need to remove the ceiling rose to get at fuses etc? It's
something I'll look into doing sometime (yes, might be buying more X10
[spit])...

? Is that right? I thought if you wired into the 'normal switch' rather
than 'momentary' terminals, the 'last signal wins', so changing the switch
takes control of the light, and X10 signals do the same, with either being
able to switch the light on or off- is that incorrect?
