Behind the small piece of clear plastic in the front is a screw. That
loosens the cover. I had the same problem :-)

Subject: [ukha_d] X10 RF PIR - battery cover
I recently purchased a X10 RF PIR (MS13E). Silly question - How do you
get
the battery cover off? I have tried to carefully prise it off with a
screwdriver, but it doesn't want to budge. Don't want to force anything in
case it brakes.
