Hi all

A few weeks ago I was shown some new dimmers from Lutron. I couldnt say
anything at the time as the product was not available for sale in the UK at
the time. I put them in touch with Mike Huggins at Lets Automate and Mike
has done the business and become the UK distributor for these excellent new
dimmers.

Brief outline of the dimmers below and pictures on the Lets Automate
website.

Here are some details on the Lutron Telume products.

Lutron Telume is a revolutionary type of lighting dimmer that can replace
conventional light switches without additional wiring.Rated at 500watts
there are versions for standard 240v tungsten lights or magnetic low
voltage. There will be versions later in the year for flurosecent and
electronic low voltage.

The Telume series products feature true bi directional dimming allowing up
to 9 slaves to be connected on the same circuit as a single master. The
slaves can over rule the master for control of light level which is very
useful when you have a room with more than one door into it or want
multiple lighting control points.

Telume has a built in IR receiver and can have up to 4 scenes of light
level. It is easily controlled from a Marantx RC 5000 or Phillips Pronto.

Currently available in White or black plastic there will be 4 further
finishes available in 8 weeks time.

The unit features a removable face plate and surround so it makes
decorating very easy. The front panel features a row of LED's to show the
level of light intensity.
