Hi Mark,

I have a Byterunner TC-420-S5-4 in my PC.
Its been working fine for over 2 years as com3-6 and LPT2&3
Ordered on line on a tuesday and arrived on the Saturday morning for a
total of about 42 pounds. I dont call that expensive. I havent done too
much simultaneous use of ports though. I have two of the com ports on IRQ3
with one of the motherboard com ports and the other 2 com ports on IRQ4
with the other M/B com port. The LPT ports share IRQ7 with the onboard LPT.

I primarily bought it to avoud having to keep swapping leads over.

I have added an extra card in my machine that adds two more serial ports.
However I can only get one to work (I have run out of IRQs on my server).

I would love one of these cards http://www.byterunner.com/ as they
only
need
1 IRQ for 4, 8 or more ports and they have Win2000 drivers. However they
are expensive!

Anyone any experience of these cards or an equivalent available in the UK?

Thanks

M.
