aahh BOLLOCKS!

What am I to do then... - It's got to be those bloomin Leviton's I suppose.
(Fat change of the S.O. letting me spend £100+ on a single light switch!)

Do you know if the LD10's support the status request? - At least I could
work with that. - If they DO support status request, and the status reports
the dim level, then a little bit of scripting easily allows me to simulate
direct dim levels...
