Are you suggesting you should run a cable for each source?

one for DVD player
one for VCR
one for Analogue Sat
one for Digital Sat
one for TV
one for Games Console
etc?

I haven't wired for 4 video sources.  I have wired for four different
methods of delivery to the projector. Composite, S-Video, RGB and
Component.

My AV Amp then switches the source to the projector apart from the
component
which goes directly from the DVD player.
