A conventional automatic gearbox has PRND321 (like mine) or PRND4321 or
PRND21 or something similar arranged in a straight line thus:

A Tiptronic (I believe) has this configuration that behaves like a normal
automatic, and also the ability to move the selector sideways from D to a
smaller +/- gate to manually change up/down, thus:

Of course, I only have an Astra and not a Porsche...
