RE: Good IR repeater
Chris,
Why on earth are you looking at pyramids and the like?
If you want to send IR FROM Homevision TO downstairs you dont need=20
anything like that. You have the unbeatable Nigel Orr / Keith Doxey=20
preferred method of transmitting the signal.....a Piece of copper wire !!!
Plug it into the jack on the back of Homevision and fit an IR=20
emitter/blaster on the other end.
100% reliable, extremely cheap as well.
If however you want to SEND IR TO Homevision or you dont want run a
cable=20
then you will need some sort of repeater, but my (and I suspect Nigel's)=20
advice would be use a cable :-)

Subject: [ukha_d] Good IR repeater
I am looking for a reliable IR repeater to send IR from my Homevision=20
(upstairs) to my tv & hi-fi (downstairs)
I havle looked at the 'pyramaids' but I dont know how wide the ir beam is?=
=20
.I do not have direct line of sight betwwen the sender and the hi-fi. My=20
Pronto seems to work fine no matter where I point it and would like the=20
same power as that .
Anybody any experiences????
Thanks..Chris
