Also suggest you take a look at Atmels AVR series. The 90S8535 has
8-channels 10-bit A/D and can be programmed in BASIC (see www.mscelec.com)
another option is BasicX-24 from NetMedia and if you are into VB
I think you would like that since it uses a subset of VB (see
www.basicx.com).
