This is what I would expect and hope to be the case (and I believe it is, I
just wanted to check before I potentially run up large bills!).

Likewise, I've never actually sat up late enough to see if it ever gets
disconnected, but I know I've still been online at 01:45 before now...

If I hang it up, then I can't reconnect, (as you'd expect), but if I stay
online then it seems to just keep on going....
