Paul,
Via slow modem (i.e. not ISDN).. the line drops at midnight, and then have
to re-connect via the non-0800 number.

As for disconnecting, I get disconnected after 2 hrs, I have tried to use
homeseer to get around this, i.e. use the timer to connect to a web page,
but to
no avail... - haven't tried a sheel script yet?? I wonder if it is clever
enough
to determine that I have not touched the keyboard within those 2 hours.
Anybody had any joy??

Just waiting now for ADSL!!!
