I am using Real Juke box from real.com
I have the registered plus version but the standard version is free. The PC
has an OEM Soundblaster PCI 128 which is conected to a sony dolby prologic
surround sound amp, which has the front two speaker replaced with my trusty
mission 707's. A logitech cordless keyboard & mouse so i can sit on the
sofa
& control it. These work far inexcess of the 6 ft spec.

At a cost of around 450 (6 month ago) for the PC it makes a very cheap
HIFI.

The latest version of RJ has visulisations which match the music. I am
looking forward to projecting these on to a wall with my video projector.
When i convert the cellar into a bar/disco room.

It is my opinion that above 196k/sec bit rate you very close close to CD
quality.

We could also start the plastic things with grove in (what did you call
them
?) vs CD war.

Steve.
