Try turning up to a party with a notebook computer, a CD full of MP3s and a
video projector. 5 minutes spent connecting it to a HiFi, selecting random
and repeat and hey presto - instant fire and forget sound and light show.
Twas pretty cool (although the notebook wasn't after 14 hours operation).
It helps if you encode MP3s at a reasonable bit rate, and not using the
first encoder you happen across...
